When Willow Smith appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, she killed it! The 21-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith was the show’s headlining act on October 8 and debuted her dark rock song “Curious/Furious.” She sang on stage while an ombré purple hue filled the room, “I always knew there was an order to this/The wind in the trees whispering mathematics.” She went on to say, “I always knew I tried my best to talk back/Refract the wisdom to mend the void.
She embraced her rock ‘n’ roll feel with leather trousers, a bikini top tucked under a leather jacket. For the performance, she accessorised with silver body chains and many silver necklaces, which complemented her understated yet striking glam. Throughout the performance, Willow’s beautiful skin and black cat eyeliner took centre stage.

Earlier this year, the host of Red Table Talk performed on the show alongside her friend Camila Cabello, 25, to sing their song “Psychofreak” in April 2022. The friends wowed the crowd at Studio 8H while sporting edgy ensembles. Their catchy and seductive song was featured on Camila’s album Familia, which was released that same month.
In August, Willow released her own brand-new songs, including the song “hover like a GODDESS,” while simultaneously dropping her own last name and using inventive capitalization. The album’s debut track, “Single,” was originally scheduled to be released on September 23 but was postponed to October 7 instead. According to her previous works, which include a collaboration album with her ex-boyfriend Tyler Cole, the album is anticipated to be pop-punk (also known together as band The Anxiety).
