Doctor G, another fun movie from Ayushmann Khurrana and Junglee Pictures, who are known for offering the most innovative entertainment with subtle socially conscious ideas, is back. The name Ayushmann Khurrana has already established itself as a subgenre. His films have always been well-received as family entertainment. He is known for his concept-driven films, such as Vicky Donor about becoming a sperm donor and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan about dealing with erectile dysfunction. This time, he plays the role of a male gynaecologist in a medical school comedy-drama in his upcoming movie, which has received an A rating and is recommended for spectators who are at least 18 years old. This is Ayushmann’s first experience.
Ayushmann Khurrana is the star. Doctor G recounts the path of an aspiring orthopaedic physician but instead ends up in the gynaecology department since he is the only male in a field where women prevail. According to the trailer, the film adheres to the values of the medical institution and follows a journey toward becoming a doctor while highlighting the events based on true stories in a comedic way.

Thanks to OTT services, viewers—in particular young adults—have had access to authentic, uncensored, and risk-taking content since the pandemic. In this day and age where such content is readily available, it is only right that viewers have the same experience on the big screen. Junglee Pictures and Ayushmann Khurrana decided not to make any changes to the movie and to accept the “A” rating in order to deliver a comedy with a story that should be seen in its whole.
According to Amrita Pandey, CEO of Junglee Pictures, “The movie is adventurous, high on entertainment while discreetly defying assumptions as one may anticipate from a typical Ayushmann Khurrana picture.” Although it lacks any explicit material, it is a movie for young adults who are exposed to strong yet sensitive and hilarious content, and they can of course watch it with their families. Doctor G will be engaging and refreshing due to its brief running time because there were no suggested adjustments, so we may screen it exactly as is in theatres.

We can tell from the recently released and highly discussed trailer that the subject of the movie is bold yet universal in character and will be embraced by the general public. Given that the movie has a “A” certificate now, seeing it with friends would be enjoyabl
