Blake Shelton has announced his departure from the iconic music reality competition series The Voice, with Season 23 serving as his final season as coach. This news is guaranteed to anger The Voice fans. Additionally, Shelton will be joined for The Voice Season 23, which is set to premiere in the spring of 2023, by returning judge Kelly Clarkson and newcomers Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper.
In a moving statement he posted on Instagram about his leaving, Blake Shelton thanked the judges, competitors, viewers, and The Voice staff for “a hell of a trip throughout these 12 years of chair turns.” The evolution of The Voice can also be compared to the romance between Shelton and Gwen Stefani, which led to their joyful marriage. Blake included his devoted wife Gwen Stefani in his touching statement, saying, “I’ve developed lifelong connections with Carson and every single one of my former coaches over the years.”
In a statement, Blake Shelton said, “I’ve been debating this for a while and I’ve concluded that it’s time for me to leave The Voice after the upcoming season. My life has been completely improved by this show, and I will always feel at home there. It’s been a wild ride over the past 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, including all of the producers, writers, musicians, crew members, and caterers. You are the greatest. A live show twice a week requires a lot of effort, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!). Over the years, I’ve developed enduring relationships with Carson and each and every one of my fellow coaches, including my wife Gwen Stefani! I must give a major shout-out to the singers, known as the “Voices,” who continue to dazzle us with their brilliance by being on this stage year after year.I must also thank the people who chose me to be their coach. Last but not least, it’s about all of you, the coaches and competitors on The Voice, who support and encourage these musicians as they seek their goals. It would not be possible without you!
Gwen Stefani left some sweet remarks in the comments area for her beloved husband: “I feel so fortunate to have found you and so proud of you. I feel so fortunate to be a part of your life’s journey and see how many others are blessed by your skill. “
The Voice Season 23: New Coaches Revealed
