On Wednesday’s episode of Radio Andy on Sirius XM, Andy Cohen, 54, discussed Ramona Singer’s decision to leave The Real Housewives of New York City. The host claimed that “many saw that coming” and even called out some fans for their hypocrisy when the 65-year-old reality star announced she would not be returning for the Legacy edition of the Bravo series.
“Interestingly, every time Ramona was mentioned, the internet responded with the amusing phrase “Please, no Ramona. You tweet, “Get Ramona out of here! ” On this edition of his radio show, Andy made jokes. But the moment Ramona says she’s leaving, everyone exclaims, “Nooo, Ramona’s a legend! It’s hilarious, really. It’s hilarious.
Andy continued, calling Ramona’s involvement in the programme “great television,” but he also said he thought her departure from the programme was a touch dodgy. She was — I think she’s extremely bullish about what she has going on in her life right now, and I had a terrific talk with her about this a few weeks ago,” he continued. “I’m leaving it there,” I said.
Following Ramona’s last-week announcement that she would be leaving the show, Andy made these remarks. She stated to Page Six on Friday, “I do not want to do the show any more. “I’m not ready for it yet.”
In an interview in October, she also discussed whether or not she will appear on the new season of the show. I’ve spent a lot of time there. I mean, never say never, she stated on the podcast “Reality with the King.” But how could the ‘Legacy’ [show] be very fantastic, I also think? Despite Ramona’s claims that she left the programme on her own volition, sources have told Page Six that Bravo declined to give her a role in the reimagined series, which is bringing back old favourites from previous seasons. According to insiders, the network was planning to ask her back before she recently began attacking the new spinoff in the media.
