A stray bullet killed TikTok celebrity Brandon “Boogie B” Montrell while he was visiting his grandmother in New Orleans. He had a reputation for being a comic.
His distraught mother revealed the news of his passing while ranting at the city’s authorities, according to the New York Post. Sherilyn Price, Montrell’s mother, confirmed that the 43-year-old comedian and social media star who was killed while sitting in a parked car in the Rouses grocery store in the Warehouse District during the afternoon was the man who died.
The distraught mother criticised the officials who should “perform their jobs” and the criminality in the most populous city in Louisiana.
Sherilyn Price claimed, “My son was not only the victim of a stray bullet,” in a statement received by Fox 8 on Saturday. The distraught mother continued, “He’s the victim of decades of neglect that have given New Orleans’ youngsters little hope for a future and no real fear of repercussions.
“Leaders in our city and everywhere else need to start performing their duties. The identities of the president, governor, and mayor are important. Leaders open doors, she continued, including the door to a peaceful existence free from the threat of arbitrary violence. The victim’s identity has not been formally disclosed, but the New Orleans Police Department has confirmed he was not the intended victim, according to the New York Post.
According to the authorities, the casualty was a bystander caught in the crossfire.
