The 53-year-old Jennifer Lopez looked stunning as she celebrated Christmas this year. In a recent Instagram shot, the singer and actress posed on a decorated staircase while wearing a long, silver and green-patterned gown with a turtleneck top. She grinned and looked up at the ceiling with one hand resting on the railing, her long hair pulled back in a curly ponytail. She also displayed another outfit that featured a white collar and matching sleeves with a turquoise tiny dress that was covered in red bows. She wore it with red strapped platform heels. Her hair was pulled back in the second look, as it was in the first, and she accessorised with white flower earrings and red lipstick to complete the ensemble. She said in the caption for the second series of pictures, “Merry Christmas!!!!

In addition to posting the pictures on social media, Jennifer also included an explanation of her decisions regarding the silver and gold Christmas tree and the silver and green gown in her newsletter, On the JLo. Her justification related to the hummingbird theme. She stated in the newsletter that “hummingbirds are messages of love” to her. Although they are the quickest bird, they always take a moment to pause, enjoy a tasty treat, and smell the roses. I can relate to them, but more than anything, I feel like anytime I see one, it’s a message from God that everything will be alright.
She explained that she had chosen the hummingbird as her motif for the year and had even written a song with that name for her next album. We have mixed families, which means there is treble the mayhem, twice as much fun, twice as much love.
She also mentioned that she wore the silver and green dress to the holiday party at her and husband Ben Affleck’s Los Angeles, California, home. She said, “This year, I also chose hummingbird colours for my Christmas party outfit. “I’ve had this Gucci dress in my wardrobe for a year now; I bought it and have been waiting for the right occasion to wear it. It seemed ideal for our Hummingbird Christmas Party, in my opinion.
Jennifer said, “For the past eight years, we’ve held a Christmas Edition Taco Tuesday, when we get together, dress up, and sing Christmas music. “We were finally able to get together with people we hadn’t seen in a very long time for the first time in a very long time. Family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances from our past attended the celebration. We performed songs and dances while having the best time ever.
