Now, documents from the court reveal more intricate details about the case. Actress Ellen Barkin purportedly testified that she was drugged by actor Johnny Depp and raped by him.

In the unsealed court documents, it is now known that Ellen Barkin told Johnny Depp to take Quaaludes before their first sexual encounter. Not only did she call him controlling, but she said he was a wine connoisseur. Ellen and Johnny Depp dated in the 1990s, according to reports. She was brought in as a witness in court by Amber Heard’s legal team. In the actress’ deposition, she claimed that Johnny Depp had a ‘world of violence around him.’ It has also been reported that Johnny reportedly threw a bottle of wine at Ellen at some point in the relationship. However, she admitted that Johnny Depp never physically harmed her. Reportedly, the actress took a deposition in November 2019.
Court decision for a case of defamation
The court handed down its ruling in favor of Johnny Depp. Amber Heard was ordered to pay him approximately $10 million. Amber Heard wrote an oped in which she stated that she was a victim of domestic violence. However, Johnny Depp moved to court claiming that her allegations caused him to lose personally and professionally. Allegedly, it is being said that he lost Pirates of the Caribbean 6 because of her allegations. At this point, the defamation case came to an end.
